Is The Food Your Children Eat, Turning Them Into Devils?



Back in 2002, a revolution started. In the Central Alternative High School of Appleton, WI, the kids now behave. The hallways aren't frantic anymore and even the teachers are happy.

The school used to be out of control. Kids packed weapons. Discipline problems overwhelmed the principal's office. But not since 1997. What happened? Did they post cops every few feet, did they spray valium gas in the classrooms, did they install metal detectors in the bathrooms, did they build holding cells in the gym? No, none of the above. In 1997, a private group called Natural Ovens began installing a healthy lunch program.

Huh? Fast-food burgers, fries, and burritos gave way to fresh salads, vegetables "prepared with old-fashioned recipes," and whole grain bread. Fresh fruits were added to the menu. Good drinking water arrived. Vending machines were removed. As reported in a newsletter called Pure Facts, "Grades are up, truancy is no longer a problem, arguments are rare, and teachers are able to spend their time teaching.

"Principal LuAnn Coenen, who files annual reports with the state of Wisconsin, has turned in some staggering figures since 1997. Drop-outs? Students expelled? Students discovered to be using drugs? Carrying weapons? Committing suicide? Every category has come up ZERO. Every year. Mary Bruyette, a teacher, states, "I don't have to deal with daily discipline issues. I don't have disruptions in class or the difficulties with student behavior I experienced before we started the food program." One student asserted, "Now that I can concentrate I think it's easier to get along with people" What a concept---eating healthier food increases concentration.

Principal Coenen sums it up: "I can't buy the argument that it's too costly for schools to provide good nutrition for their students. I found that one cost will reduce another. I don't have the vandalism. I don't have the litter. I don't have the need for high security.

"At a nearby middle school, the new food program is catching on. A teacher there, Dennis Abram, reports, "I've taught here almost 30 years. I see the kids this year as calmer, easier to talk to. They just seem more rational. I had thought about retiring this year and basically I've decided to teach another year---I'm having too much fun!"

Pure Facts, the newsletter that ran this story, is published by a non-profit organization called The Feingold Association, which has existed since 1976. Part of its mission is to "generate public awareness of the potential role of foods and synthetic additives in behavior, learning and health problems. The [Feingold] program is based on a diet eliminating synthetic colors, synthetic flavors, and the preservatives BHA, BHT, and TBHQ."

Thirty plus years ago there was a Dr. Feingold. His breakthrough work proved the connection between these negative factors in food and the lives of children. Hailed as a revolutionary advance, Feingold's findings were soon trashed by the medical cartel, since those findings threatened the drugs-for-everything, disease-model concept of modern healthcare. But Feingold's followers have kept his work alive. 


If what happened in Appleton, Wisconsin, takes hold in many other communities across America, maybe the ravenous corporations who invade school space with their vending machines and junk food will be tossed out on their behinds. It could happen. And perhaps ADHD will become a dinosaur. A non-disease that was once attributed to errant brain chemistry. And perhaps Ritalin will be seen as just another toxic chemical that was added to the bodies of kids in a crazed attempt to put a lid on behavior that, in part, was the result of a subversion of the food supply.

For those readers who ask me about solutions to the problems we face---here is a real solution. Help these groups. Get involved. Step into the fray. Stand up and be counted. The drug companies aren't going to do it. They're busy estimating the size of their potential markets. They're building their chemical pipelines into the minds and bodies of the young. Every great revolution starts with a foothold. Sounds like Natural Ovens and The Feingold Association have made strong cuts into the big rock of ignorance and greed.

Swine Flu And You

Swine flu viruses don't normally infect humans, but human infections with swine influenza do occur. Flu pandemics are among the most frequently occurring pandemics in the world. Swine flu is a type A influenza virus and spreads from person to person by coughing and sneezing, and by coming into contact with infected areas (such as door handles, telephones, keyboards).

Pandemic flus -- like the 1918 flu and outbreaks in 1957 and 1968 -- often strike young, healthy people the hardest. Pandemic disease experts are preparing for a possible second wave of the swine flu. In contrast to the regular seasonal epidemics of influenza, these pandemics occur irregularly, with the 1918 Spanish flu the most serious pandemic in recent history. There have been about three influenza pandemics in each century for the last 300 years. Influenza pandemics occur when a new strain of the influenza virus is transmitted to humans from another animal species. Three influenza pandemics occurred in the 20th century and killed tens of millions of people, with each of these pandemics being caused by the appearance of a new strain of the virus in humans. When it first killed humans in Asia in the 1990s, a deadly avian strain of H5N1 posed a great risk for a new influenza pandemic; however, this virus did not mutate to spread easily between people.

Influenza pandemics must be taken very seriously because of their capacity to spread rapidly to every country in the world. Influenza is highly contagious, and it's one of the most dangerous types of common viral infection. Influenza, often referred to as simply the flu, is ultimately a viral infection.

Swine influenza viruses have the ability to bind both types of sialic acid receptors. Swine Influenza is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A H1N1 influenza virus. Swine flu can be fatal to those who are very young, old, and who have health issues.

H1N1 viruses that descended from the 1918 strain, as well as H3N2 viruses, have now been co-circulating worldwide for 29 years and show little evidence of extinction. H1N1 is simply the scientific name for a subtype of the type A swine influenza virus that is contagious and spreading from human to human. On 11, June 2009, this new strain of H1N1 influenza was declared to be a global pandemic (Stage 6) by the World Health Organization after evidence of spreading in the southern hemisphere. It's thought to be a mutation (reassortment) of four known strains of influenza A virus subtype H1N1: one endemic in humans, one endemic in birds, and two endemic in pigs (swine). Since 2009, most vaccine development efforts have been focused on the current pandemic influenza virus H1N1.

The United States and these international partners have led global efforts to encourage countries to heighten surveillance for outbreaks in poultry and significant numbers of deaths in migratory birds and to rapidly introduce containment measures. The occurrence, and to some extent the severity, of recurrent annual outbreaks, are driven by viral antigenic drift, with an antigenic variant virus emerging to become dominant approximately every 2 to 3 years. There were minor outbreaks around the world throughout 1918, but the real emergence didn't start until winter, when the disease broke out in force in Europe, then spread over large segments of the population in America, Europe and Africa.

In the United States alone, as many as 700,000 people are expected to die in as little as six months following the outbreak. Despite their best intentions, however, the world isn't ready for such a viral outbreak. If the outbreak dies out quickly and this turns out not to be the next global pandemic then we can be sure another strain will try to be at some point in the future.

These novel strains are unaffected by any immunity people may have to older strains of human influenza and can therefore spread extremely rapidly and infect very large numbers of people. Often, these new strains result from the spread of an existing flu virus to humans from other animal species. Each subtype virus has mutated into a variety of strains with differing pathogenic profiles; some pathogenic to one species but not others, some pathogenic to multiple species. Any one of them can combine with each other or with different variant genotypes within its own subtype creating new variants, any one of which could become a pandemic strain.

Deaths from H1N1 flu is frequently reported. Because statistics on pediatric flu deaths had not been collected previously, it is unknown if the 2003–2004 season witnessed a significant change in mortality patterns. The worrisome new virus — which combines genetic material from pigs, birds and humans in a way researchers have not seen before. The pandemic viruses of 1957 and 1968 were milder in comparison to the 1918 virus, and caused fewer deaths.

Tamiflu Facts: * the trade name for Tamiflu is oseltamivir phosphate, unlike other antiviral flu medications, such as Flumadine and Symmetrel, Tamiflu is effective against both type A and B strains of flu. Tamiflu helps to reduce your time with flu symptoms. Tamiflu doesn’t decrease mortality from flu but lessens the severity of symptoms. Tamiflu is not recommended for pregnant women.

Symptoms of avian influenza in humans have ranged from typical human influenza-like symptoms (e. Symptoms of this flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue.

Researchers at Stanford University School of Medicine are looking for healthy adults to test a new swine flu vaccine mixed with an ingredient that could boost people’s immune response. Modern medicine still can't cure the influenza virus, although it can treat the symptoms and often preserve life in cases that would have defeated the medical establishment of 1918. Additional studies are needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of these medicines. Modern medicine gives us no immunity from a pandemic flu. That means that one person might like alternative medicine, while another might not. I am still convinced that by using the most powerful natural anti-virals, people can still overcome the effects (not all the symptoms) of this dreaded flu virus.

Fight Back With Natures Most Powerful Anti-Virals



Now that the h1n1 virus (swine flu) has grabbed at my own family in different parts of the country, I'm coming out swinging!

I'm not going to take it anymore! And you shouldn't either.

According to the CDC, Influenza A H1N1 is a respiratory disease typically found in pigs that is caused by type A influenza viruses. While it's not typical for humans to contract Influenza A H1N1, human infections occasionally do happen.

It hasn't yet been determined how exactly the current strain of Influenza A H1N1 is spreading, but flu is normally spread through the air by droplets expelled from the mouth when an infected person talks, coughs or sneezes. These droplets often land on hands and adjacent surfaces. Following proper hygiene can help prevent the spread of the illness.

  • Wash your hands: Wash your hands throughout the day with soap and water for 20 seconds, making sure to scrub underneath the nails and the back of the hands.
  • Disinfect surfaces: Regularly disinfect the frequently-touched surfaces in your home with a disinfectant to prevent viruses from spreading from surfaces to people.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. And if you're sick, stay home to avoid spreading germs to those around you.

Alternative medications that are most likely to help us during a severe pandemic:

Garlic (allicin) – Very effective antiviral. Best if fresh (raw) and crushed. Must be consumed within 1 hour of crushing. Dosage is initially 2 to 3 cloves per day but later reduce until no body odor occurs.

Vitamin C – Boosts the immune system and is an antiviral by blocking the enzyme neuraminadase. Viruses need neuraminadase to reproduce. There are stories of people taking large amounts of Vitamin C (children) surviving the Spanish Flu. A study with 470 people, involved giving them 1000 mg hourly for 6 hours and then 1000 mg 3 times daily after reporting flu symptoms. Symptoms decreased by 85%.

Green Tea (possible Tamiflu/Relenza alternative) – Very effective antiviral and a powerful antioxidant. Also decreases the production of the cytokine (catechins) TNF-a. Inhibits neuraminidase. May have antiviral activity that is equal to other antivirals like Tamiflu.

St Johns Wort (Hypericum) – Another very effective antiviral. Also decreases the production of the cytokine IL-6. Hypericum is an extract from St John's Wort.

Vitamin E – Immune booster. Also decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. Very suitable for immune compromised people, especially the elderly. The effects are enhanced when taken with Vitamin C.

Apple Juice – Antiviral. Fresh apple juice including the pulp and skin has a greater antiviral activity than "heated commercial" apple juice.

Resveratrol – Antiviral. In addition to inhibiting neuraminidase, resveratrol also sends a message to cells to stop manufacturing viruses. A proven antiviral found naturally in red wine, mulberries, Japanese Knotwood root (richest source), raisins and red grapes.

Scuttellaria (Skullcap) – Antiviral. A herb used as a tea. It has no side effects and is also a mild tranquillizer. Research suggests neuraminidase, which is a substance needed by the H5N1 virus to reproduce, may be inhibited.

Cranberry Juice – Some research shows that it may be an antiviral, making viruses less able to invade or multiply.

Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) – Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. Also boosts immune system. The number of white blood cells was significantly increased during treatment. Children and pregnant women should avoid. Has a potentially damaging effect on the DNA of proliferating cells. (cancers, fetuses, growing children)

Curcumin (Turmeric Spice) – Decreases the production of the cytokine TNF-a. This is the yellow compound in turmeric spice. Must be taken with food or gastritis or peptic ulcers may occur. Pregnant women and feeding mothers should avoid. The medicinal properties of curcurmin cannot be utilized when used alone due to rapid metabolism in the liver and intestinal wall. When combined with Piperine found in black pepper the absorption is increased with no adverse effects. Obtainable from health stores in tablets, liquid, capsules already combined with Piperine. Dosage is 500mg to 4000mg daily.

Astragalus Root (Astragali Radix) – Boosts immune system.

Tea Tree Steam Inhalation – Reduces the cytokine TNF-a. Add 2 drops of tea tree oil in a bowl of steaming water. Cover head with a towel and inhale for 5 to 10 minutes. Relieves congestion and fights infection.

Is Honey The Most Amazing Food On The Planet?


It may very well be. I love honey and eat it every day. I use it as a replacement for sugar in my tea in the morning. One reason I don’t prefer sugar over honey? Find out HERE.

There’s an amazing thing that happens though when you mix this marvel of nature with another amazing plant creation, and their benefits working together, is really incredible for us.

Even though honey is sweet, taken in the right dosage, even diabetic patients can take it as a medicine, without any harm. In fact, honey can be used for many diseases without any side effects.
Think about this for a minute… Honey is the ONLY food on the planet that will not “rot or spoil.”

If left alone long enough in a cool dark place it will “crystallize,” but sitting it in some hot water will liquefy it again and return it to its original state. You should never boil the honey OR put it in a microwave. (It will kill the enzymes.)

Doctors at the Copenhagen University found that when they treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon honey and a half teaspoon of cinnamon powder, within one week, 73 out of 200 people treated were totally relieved of pain and within a month, almost all the patients who could not walk or move around, started walking without pain.

Two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and a teaspoon of honey, in a glass of lukewarm water, will destroy germs in the bladder.

Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of cinnamon powder, mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, were found to reduce the cholesterol level in the blood by 10%, with two hours. If arthritic patients take this three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. Some research has shown that taking pure honey with food every day relieves complaints of cholesterol.

When you are suffering from cold symptoms, taking one tablespoon lukewarm honey with ¼ teaspoon cinnamon will cure most chronic coughs and clear the sinuses.

Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures a stomach ache and also will clear stomach ulcers from the root. Studies done in India and Japan reveal that “gas in the stomach” is relieved when honey and cinnamon are taken together. Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey, taken before food, relieves acidity and helps digest heavy meals.

Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens white blood corpuscles to fight bacterial and viral diseases.
A scientist in Spain proved that honey contains a natural ingredient which kills the influenza germ and saves the patient from flu.

Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken on a regular basis, arrests the negative side effects of aging. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder, and three cups of water and boil to drink like a tea. Only ¼ cup, three to four times a day, keeps skin fresh and soft and slows down those aging effects. Even aged people have been known to start performing chores like a much younger person again.

Parasites Are Looking For A Few Good Bodies


Parasites find a spot in the ecosystem and exploit them for their survival. Billions are clamoring for a chance to get inside you, and the best way to do that is to ride in on your next meal.

Here's a few items on your menu with a high probability for parasites to be "piggybacking." This doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get a belly full of worms with each one though! Proper food storage, fresh ingredients and sanitary food preparation conditions will greatly decrease the chances for food contamination.

Cooked Snails or Escargot

If you think consuming cooked snails is repulsive, then their parasites aren't going to concern you. However, if you can't think of a better vehicle for tasty garlic butter, then you might want to sit down before reading this. Did you know that snails feed on decaying leaves, fecal matter and carrion? It's for this reason; one of the first steps in preparing a snail for the dinner table is to clean out its digestive system. Snail farmers often avoid a lot of potential toxicity by raising their livestock on ground cereal.

Angiostrongylus cantonensis or (rat lungworm) frequently set up house in snails and other mollusks due to their food source. And since snails are both bottom feeders and tasty treats, they're perfect for transmitting these parasites. Eating undercooked escargot and Angiostrongylus cantonensis could wind up in your brain, resulting in sickness, headache and even meningitis. In addition, a poorly washed food snail can bring a number of other disease risks to your body.

Rat lungworm is common in a number of mollusks, including freshwater snails, shrimp, slugs, and crabs. Frogs are also a host. To be on the safe side, overcook any of these dinner delights if you just have to eat them.

Sushi and sashimi is another culprit

Many different animals of the world's oceans also pose a parasite issue. The problem is that many of those life forms are home to parasites. You can eliminate the risk of infection by simply cooking your seafood thoroughly. Some also advise that you freeze the fish for a week or cure it in saturated salt brine for five to seven days. I personally wouldn't guarantee that approach to rid all parasites.

The two problem worms to consider before dining on uncooked seafood are the Anisakidae nematode roundworms and the Diphyllobothrium tapeworm.

Of these two, the roundworm is the most common. If ingested, you might not even notice it or suffer any symptoms. The worm can "tickle" your throat on the way down, and if it bores into your stomach lining, it can cause severe abdominal inflammation and pain within an hour of ingestion. Fortunately, these troublesome parasites don't survive longer than 10 days in the human digestive track.

The Diphyllobothrium tapeworm is common in salmon, as well as other saltwater fish that also frequent fresh water. These parasites can thrive in the human gut for years, causing abdominal pain, weakness, weight loss and anemia. Fortunately, they can be eradicated through parasite cleanse or medical treatment.

To avoid the risk of getting nematode roll or tapeworm sashimi, stick to reputable restaurants that follow good food safety guidelines. If you're still concerned, ask whether the fish has been previously frozen or stick to the many sushi options that use cooked or vegetarian ingredients.

Steak tartar

Another source of parasites is raw meat. Do you see a pattern forming here? Naturally, steak or lamb tartare can offer an excellent risk for parasitic infection. Not only does the whole dish revolve around raw meat, but many recipes call for the addition of a raw egg as well. While considered a delicious treat in Eastern Europe, Asia, and Ethiopia, this raw meat provides the risk for roundworms and the intracellular bacteria parasites salmonella, E. coli and Listeria monocytogenes.

If you're going to eat it raw, you'll need a very fresh, certified cut of meat and you're going to want it prepared in a hygienic environment. Some chefs put an emphasis on the use of grass-fed livestock, as the bacteria in "grain fed" animals become use to an acidic environment, preparing them for survival in the human gut. Freezing a cut of beef for 14 days is believed to wipe out any parasitic risk. Exercise caution when choosing where you order it.

Pink hamburger

Everyone who eats meat loves the summertime grill masters sizzle on some serious beef patties.

But if steak tartare is the classy method of consuming raw beef, then a rare, pink hamburger may be considered the low-rent option for risking a bun full of E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes or salmonella. Undercooked hamburgers are a major risk factor for E. coli, with the number of outbreaks almost doubling during summer months.

Cleanliness and freshness are the most important factors for food safety. While you might enjoy the flavor of a pink center in an expensive gourmet burger, you shouldn't accept that pinkish fast-food burger. A study published in the Annals of Diagnostic Pathology examined the contents of eight fast-food hamburgers and discovered Sarcocystis parasites in two of them. Unlike other parasites that might be lurking in a pink hamburger, Sarcocystis is usually asymptomatic.

Ham and pork

Some foods don't even have to be raw. The USDA, FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, rank simple deli meat right at the top of their lists for Listeria monocytogenes infection. These meats often feature extended refrigerated storage times, during which L. monocytogenes has adequate time to grow. The message here is to use fresh deli meat and only buy from sandwich shops that are going to do the same.

Pork poses the greatest health risk and a host of other parasitic risks as well if undercooked or poorly stored. Pork tapeworms pose a severe threat and sometimes spread to a host's eyes, spine or brain with adverse health conditions and potentially fatal results. A Trichinella worm infection can cause dire symptoms, ranging from heart problems, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fatigue, fever and muscle pain, chills and even death. When traveling or vacationing, consider that roadside restaurant purchase or vending machine ham sandwich.

Make sure your meals of meats, sea foods and other fast food offering are well done. Remember, you can't beat cleanliness and fresh ingredients when choosing your meals at a restaurant. When in doubt, order it well done.

Do You Know How Amazing Our Food Is?


I wrote this article awhile back, but for those who have never seen it, you'll be surprised at the "coincidences" about the food we eat everyday.

It's really quite astounding...

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.


A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.


Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.


A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.


Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.


Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.


Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit.

In Remembrance of Dr. Hulda Clark

This article follows our tribute in honor of Dr. Hulda Clark that passed away in her sleep on September 3rd.. We thank all for your kind words and your letters of condolences. Here is a short bibliography of Dr. Hulda Clark.

In Remembrance of Dr. Hulda Regehr Clark 1928 - 2009


Dr. Hulda Regehr Clark was born on October 18th, 1928 in Rosthern , Saskatchewan Canada.

She began her studies in biology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada, where she was awarded the Bachelor of Arts in 1950 , Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Clark was awarded a Master of Arts degree, with High Honors from the University of Saskatchewan. After two years of study at McGill University, Dr. Clark was awarded her Doctorate degree in physiology by the University of Minnesota in 1958. Dr. Clark studies throughout focused on biophysics and cell physiology.

Dr. Clark established a nutritional consulting practice in the late 1960’s as a complement to her university research at the University of Indiana. In 1974 when Federal research funds were eliminated, she began private nutritional consulting on a full time basis. She obtained a naturopathy degree at the Clayton College of Natural Health.

Dr. Clark focused on consulting and independent research in all aspects of human disease, especially cancer.
This research took her down many avenues; from the study of parasites, bacteria, viruses and fungus to heavy metals, solvents and lately radioactivity. She wanted to find out how the human body cells react to these invaders.

She came up with many solutions to rid our bodies of these invaders. Dr. Clark researched the use of herbs, essential oils, orthomolecular therapy and frequency therapy. She focused on the importance of dental health, as well as everyday awareness of environmental factors.

Her most important discovery was the zapper. Zapping means electrocuting pathogens and for years she used a frequency generator to "zap" one pathogen after another. In 1994 her son built a hand held, battery operated, accurate frequency generator. The purpose was to kill the intestinal fluke but she then noticed that the battery-operated zapper killed all pathogens without having to set in a specific frequency. This was a great time-saver.

Another key invention of Dr. Clark is the Syncrometer. It is an audio oscillator circuit that tunes for and detects the resonance in all things in much the same way a radio tuner located a specific station. The Syncrometer can scan for anything in the body – be it an object, an organ, a chemical or virus because everything has a characteristic frequency or set of frequencies.

Dr. Clark undertook all of her research with her Syncrometer and detected the causes of cancer, HIV and other "mysterious" diseases.
Her approach was quite simple. With the use of the Syncrometer she would search for common denominators (e.g. toxins, pathogens).

As Dr. Clark would become certain of a discovery, she would seek confirmation of her more critical findings with conventional independent laboratory analysis.
This was often difficult because the Syncrometer detects to specificity well beyond the capabilities of most laboratory analysis.

Dr. Clark has written 7 books, of which 5 concern cancer. In them Dr. Clark details her methods, her results, and her conclusions for all to read. In her later books she describes in detail her newest frequency technologies such as plate-zapping and homeography. In addition each cancer book contains a specific holistic cancer fighting program.

Dr. Clark, with her self-health approach, has touched countless individuals around the globe who have been able to help themselves with the knowledge that she has provided.

Dr. Clark endured severe attacks by professional adversaries as well as Government Officials. She nevertheless carried on sharing her knowledge for the benefit of health and mankind.

We are thankful for Dr. Clark’s unselfish dedication and lasting contributions to all.

Dr. Clark passed away on September 3rd 2009 in Chula Vista, California.

We Will Truly Miss You Dr. Clark

Dr. Clark passed away last Thursday, September 3rd, as a result of complications from a spinal cord injury.

The first time I heard of Dr. Hulda Clark was in 1995, when I came across her book about cancer. This sparked my interest and gave my whole life a new perspective. I met Dr. Clark personally in the summer of 1996. She immediately came across as an energetic woman whose only interest is her work and her patients. Dr. Clark would work every minute that she did not spend with her grandchildren, either at the clinic or doing more research at home.

What amazed me about Dr. Clark was her complete disinterest in material things. Often, I was a bit worried when I saw her driving around in her old clunker. She just had no needs that went beyond just the basic needs. That mindset led Dr. Clark to share her research freely with the whole world.

Except for the books themselves, Dr. Clark never had any commercial interests, but published her findings in her books for everyone to use. She even allowed anyone to freely make copies of her books, if they were not sold. I remember a time when someone illegally published one of her books in Mexico and when she was asked if she did not want to do something about that, she said: “Oh well, at least the public can read my books”.

Dr. Clark’s interest in her research became apparent the many times I saw her speak in public. Even to audiences who had little knowledge of her findings, she would prefer to speak about her latest research, rather than give a general overview.

Her research took her down many avenues: she can be called a true pioneer in a number of areas. Her frequency approach to cancer was unique, but in the last couple of years low intensity electric field treatments for cancer have been rather well studied and shown to work. Though parasites were an issue in holistic medicine among the bio-resonance testers especially, it was Dr. Clark who made this a major topic starting with the publication of her first book in 1993. She also focused on the importance of dental health, as well as environmental factors. Those topics had already been recognized as important in holistic medicine, but her major contribution was the proposition of a complete protocol that included all the important factors, namely environmental factors, dental health, nutrition, herbal approaches and cleansing, and frequencies.

Dr. Clark has not only given my life a new slant, but has touched the lives of hundreds of thousands around the globe who have been able to help themselves with the knowledge that she has brought forth. Dr. Clark suffered severe attacks from adversaries and Government and still carried on, for the benefit of health and mankind. I feel that the world loses a great find, and so do I.

We are thankful for Dr. Clark’s dedication and contribution and she will always be in our hearts. Thank you, Dr. Clark, for everything!

We will continue our efforts in her spirit and keep bringing her wisdom to the world.

According to her wishes, Dr. Clark will be cremated and her ashes given to the Pacific Ocean, which she so loved, in a private ceremony.

The Sweetest Poison On Earth


Did you see the article this past week about sugar on Yahoo? On YAHOO! They don't usually get labeled as the gurus of, "Natural Cures and Remedies" by a long shot. I wrote about sugar a long time ago on my website and thought I should include it on the blog... so here's part of the article. If you want the long version, you can read it here. SUGAR

I know, even as I write this, that MANY people will just "blow this off" as nonsense or "no big deal," but if you're not determined to stay ignorant... you'll listen up. Sugar is a basic element found in starchy food. Sugar cane contains 14% trace elements, minerals and vitamins, plus chlorophyll. The sugar we purchase in the supermarket for personal consumption is heated up in chalk-milk, so that calcium and protein are extracted. But if you care at all (really care) about your health and your families health... Pay Attention.

It initially becomes an alkaloid, thus destroying all vitamin content. In the second phase, the sugar is mixed with acid chalk, carbonic gas, sulphur dioxide and finally, with natrium bicarbonate.

This mixture is cooked and cooled off several times, and thereafter crystallized and centrifugalized.

This dead mass is then treated with strontium hydroxide. Subsequently, it arrives at the refinery where it is passed over chalk carbon acid to clean it.

Dark coloring is removed by adding sulphuric acid and then it is filtered with bone charcoal. Finally, it is colored with Indathrenblue, or the highly toxic Ultramarine.

This product"s chemical composition is C12 H22 O11, which you can buy in shops as "pure cane" sugar, sugar cubes, candy, etc.

All of its life-giving and protective forces have been destroyed, and this product called sugar has an atomic density of 98.4 to 99.5 %.

Such density falls under the category of poison. This industrial sugar irritates the mucous membranes, tissues, glands, blood vessels and intestinal tracts of the persons who eat it. White sugar also paralyzes the intestinal peristaltic functions and leads to immune system failure. White sugar also destroys brain cells and elevates the internal temperature of the body.

More Reject Western Medicine


His clients swear by the natural treatments, but many others are doubtful

After one consultation with Daryn Peterson, a selfdescribed natural-medicine doctor, Selena Lori decided to drop her $458-a-month health insurance.

She paid nearly that, $450 an hour, to hear Peterson’s alternative approach to wellness. He explained how toxins — whether in food or medication — cause all disease, and how he has bottled prevention and cure in his line of organic vitamins and supplements.

To buy that antidote, clients pay for his “natural health insurance,” which doesn’t cover hospitalization, prescriptions or tests but offers discounts on his natural medicine.

“It just made sense,” says Lori, who runs a restaurant employment Web site. “It was a real logical transition for me.”

Peterson, 37, says his products have cured cancer, AIDS, peanut allergies and heart failure. While he has no data to prove those assertions, he does have a loyal following of clients who discovered him on the Internet or through cable TV infomercials.

He and others who reject Western medicine have capitalized on growing American demand for organic products and holistic approaches to healing.

F. Catanza Rite, a Costa Mesa holistic healer, recently self-published a book asserting that biological age can be reversed and that cancer and diabetes can be cured by his seven steps, including absorbing energ y from the Earth.

Linda Gigliotti, a University of California, Irvine, registered dietitian, said that historically some American companies and health care practitioners have made unsubstantiated claims about their products. The Food and Drug Administration recently warned the maker of Cheerios to stop promoting the cereal as a way to lower cholesterol.

“These claims are not that unusual,” Gigliotti said. “It’s very sensational and people want false hope. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Check out the credential of the person making the claim.”

Lori’s indigestion and menstrual cramps sent her to Peterson. He listened attentively. He explained how chemicals poison the body and how doctors prolong illness rather than prevent it.

Lori dropped her Health Net policy and signed up for Peterson’s “natural health insurance” membership plan.

“I just couldn’t justify spending that without getting any results,” she said.

Lori and her partner, Emanuel Thomas, pay Peterson $116 a month for unlimited consultations and a 15 percent discount on Peterson’s 14 products. They typically spend $100 to $300 for vitamins, fiber and salt.

Lori, who lives in Tustin says her symptoms have all but disappeared. She doesn’t worry about forgoing preventive checkups to screen for cancer, for instance.

“Now that I understand how the body works, it wouldn’t necessarily be a priority of mine,” she said. “What I’ve learned from Dr. Peterson is how the body works if everything is properly processed. My chances of any thing happening have been eliminated.”

Peterson arranges for his clients to purchase catastrophic insurance if they’re worried about accidents, though he says a car ran over his legs and he recovered by mending the sprains himself.

During a recent consultation with Lori, Peterson told her that statistically, cancer patients who refuse chemotherapy or radiation live longer than those in remission. Dr. Frank Meyskens, an oncologist who heads UC Irvine Medical Center’s cancer center, said the statement makes no sense.

“If a patient with cancer is in remission, he has had something done to put him in remission — usually surgery, radiation or chemotherapy,” Meyskens said.

Peterson shrugs off skepticism. “If you call the Mayo Clinic the obvious reaction is, ‘He’s a quack.’ That’s just a stereotype I’m going to have to live with.”

Peterson meets with clients at his dining room table, wearing a white doctor’s jacket, his credentials displayed behind him. He has a diploma from Canterbury University in London, a doctorate in bioscience, which he said he completed online and in person. He also is board certified by the American Alternative Medical Association, a designation available for $285 to those with a traditional or “nontraditional” doctoral degree.

“When I first graduated from medical school, the Mission Viejo hospital actually referred many patients to me,” Peterson said. “After a year or so they stopped referring patients to me because they didn’t come back and they stopped buying drugs.”

Kelsey Martinez, a Mission Hospital spokeswoman, said the hospital’s medical director had never heard of Peterson.

Peterson’s most popular product, Multi Mega 100, costs $49.95 and contains high amounts of vitamins made from organic whole plants.

“Nothing we give to our patients could ever hurt you, there are never any side effects, you can never take too much, and the more you take, the better you’ll feel,” Peterson said.

Gigliotti, the dietitian, reviewed several of Peterson’s supplement labels including Multi Mega. “I would say that’s very pricey,” Gigliotti said. “Most of the items on there are water soluble. If the body does not have an immediate use for them, they’re going to be excreted. It’s expensive urine.”

Yet Peterson’s clients swear by his results.

Erin Taydus, who lives in Kentucky, has never met Peterson but discovered him online. A mechanical engineer, she said her ovarian cysts disappeared after using his products. “He’s wonderful on simplifying the whole process. There’s so much information out there,” said Taydus, 30. “We’re just giving the body tools so the body can do the job.”

Cid Martin, 44, of Irvine lived on junk food and soda until he read a motivational book that included a chapter on health. He said eating healthy, organic whole foods and taking Peterson’s supplements have given him abundant energy.

He was first treated by Peterson’s mother, Victoria Peters, who is also a natural medicine doctor. When Martin’s doctor could not treat a painful knot underneath his arm, he drank saltwater and fasted for three days. The knot disappeared.

“I haven't been to a doctor since.”

Antioxidant-Rich Fruit & Veggies May Prevent Lymph Cancers

Increased intakes of antioxidant-rich fruit and vegetables may reduce the risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma, says a new study from the Mayo Clinic

Intakes of vitamin C, alpha-carotene, and proanthocyanidins were associated with reductions in the risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma of 22, 29, and 30 percent, respectively, according to findings published in the International Journal of Cancer.

From a food perspective the researchers, led by Dr James Cerhan, report that yellow/ orange and cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, were found to confer the greatest risk reductions.

However, despite identifying individual nutrients, Dr Cerhan and his co-workers noted that the benefits would most likely be from dietary sources of antioxidants, and not from supplements.

“Most studies have not shown an association with supplemental intake of antioxidant nutrients, suggesting that any association is likely to be mediated through foods,” they wrote.

“This has mechanistic implications (potential synergies between antioxidants; other anti-carcinogenic compounds in these foods) and also suggests that prevention approaches will likely need to be targeted towards foods and food groups and not individual nutrients, particularly taken as supplements.”

Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) is a cancer that starts in the lymphatic system and encompasses about 29 different forms of lymphoma. According to the American Cancer Society, over 50,000 new cases are diagnosed in the US every year.

Study details

In collaboration with scientists from the University of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic researchers examined data from 35,159 Iowa women aged between 55 and 69 participating in the Iowa women's health study. Diets were analyzed using a validated semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire.

Over 20 years of follow-up, a total of 415 cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma were documented. Intakes of 204 or more servings per month (about 7 servings per day) of all fruit and vegetables were associated with a 31 percent reduction in NHL risk, compared to intakes of less than 104 servings per month.

High intakes of yellow/orange vegetables (14 or more servings of per month) were associated with a risk reduction of 28 percent, as were four or more broccoli servings per month, compared to people who are no broccoli.

Considering the nutrients, in addition to the risk reductions associated with increased intakes of vitamin C, alpha-carotene, and proanthocyanidins, increased intakes of manganese from dietary sources was also associated with a risk reduction of about 40 per cent.

“To our knowledge, an inverse association with manganese has not been previously evaluated for NHL, and thus this will require replication,” they wrote. “Foods rich in manganese include whole grains, nuts, and leafy vegetables. However, we observed no clear association with foods that are major sources of manganese.”

Supplements have no effect

Cerhan and his co-workers reported no links between multivitamin use, or supplemental intake of vitamins C, E, selenium, zinc, copper or manganese.

“These results support a role for vegetables and perhaps fruits, and associated antioxidants from food sources, as protective factors against the development of NHL and follicular lymphoma in particular,” they concluded.

Do We Really Have Better Health Than Years Ago?

There is the underlying assumption that modernity translates into better health. A corollary of this logic is that we can live our lives pretty much as we want because we can always buy a repair. You know, the car won't start, the TV is broken, the telephone is dead - no problem. Just call in an expert, spend some money and all is well.

People carry this over to their thinking about health. Our ticker falters, joints creak or an unwanted growth pops up - no problem. Buy some modern medical care. If that doesn't work, it's a problem of money, better insurance, more hospital funding, more research for the "cure," more doctors, better equipment and more technology. Right?

Wrong.

Don't take my word for it. Listen to the perpetrators themselves. The following is taken right from the pages of the Journal of the American Medical Association (July 26, 2000): "Of 13 countries in a recent (health) comparison, the United States (the most modern and advanced in the world) ranks an average of 12th (second fromthe bottom)..."

For example, the U.S. ranks:
· last for low birth weight
· last for neonatal and infant mortality overall
· 11th for post neonatal mortality
· last for years of potential life lost
· 11th for female life expectancy at one year, and next to last for males
· 10th for age adjusted mortality

The World Health Organization, using different indicators, ranked the U.S. 15th among 25 industrialized nations. (If ranked against "primitive" cultures eating and living as humans were designed, the whole industrialized world would be at the bottom of the heap.)

Some might say these dismal results are because of smoking, alcohol, cholesterol, animal fats and poor penetration of medical care. Not so. Countries where these health risks are greater have better overall health according to epidemiological studies. It's also not due to lack of technology. The U.S. is, for example, second only to Japan in the number of magnetic resonance imaging units (MRIs) and computed tomography scanners per unit of population. Neither can lack of medical personnel be blamed since the U.S. has the greatest number of employees per hospital bed in the world.

So what is the problem? Here are some clues as revealed in the same journal cited above:
· 12,000 deaths per year from unnecessary surgery
· 7,000 deaths per year from medication errors in hospitals
· 20,000 deaths per year from other hospital errors
· 80,000 deaths per year from nosocomial (originating in a hospital) infections
· 106,000 deaths per year from adverse effects of medications

That totals 225,000 deaths per year, the third leading cause of death, behind heart disease and cancer. Another study - we're talking just hospital related deaths here - estimates 284,000 deaths per year. An analysis of outpatient care jumps these figures by 199,000 deaths for a new total of 483,000 medically related deaths per year. And this assumes doctors and hospitals eagerly report all their mistakes. Think so?

The poor health ranking in the U.S. is in large part not because of lack of modern medical care, it is because of it! This does not deny that each person's life choices do not impact health as well. People cannot live with abandon and then expect anybody to fix it regardless of their technology and skills. You can imagine the frustration physicians must feel faced day-to-day with patients wanting a quick fix for a lifetime of unhealthy life choices. Be that as it may, it does not deny that modern medicine in and of itself is a huge risk to those who surrender to it.

Why do we not hear more about this? It is just too difficult to come to grips with the inevitable - and unbelievable - conclusion: When all the deaths (not counting the hundreds of thousands who are maimed or otherwise harmed but don't die) reported and not reported are tallied, medical intervention is arguably the leading cause of death in our country.

Time to splash some cold water on the rely-on-modern-medicine inebriation. And remember folks, the above are just cold statistics. Take any one of these numbers and humanize it to the real pain, suffering, financial devastation, grief and family disruption, and each one is a heart rending story deserving of anyone's deep concern and sympathy. It is a tragedy of a magnitude unequalled by anything in human history. And it's repeated every year. It makes 9-11, all the deaths in all U.S. wars, deaths by auto, homicides and everything else pale in comparison. (Not to minimize the tragedy of each of those things.)

The media should be shouting about medical risks from atop their broadcast towers. But there is mostly silence, just reports in obscure (to the public) medical and scientific publications. In the meantime, trusting people keep flocking to the slaughter. From just 1995 to 2002, pharmaceutical sales jumped from $65 billion to over $200 billion. That's about one prescription for each man, woman and child in the country every month. This escalation in medical dependency is paralleled in surgeries, lab tests, emergency room admissions, elective procedures and outpatient visits.

You can do something about it. Begin today to take control of your own health destiny. The philosophical paradigm of conventional, allopathic, symptom based, reductionistic, crisis care, episodic, after-the-fact medicine is seriously flawed ... and very deadly. Good and well meaning doctors are hamstrung by wrong philosophical premises. They are crippled every bit as much as those who once believed in a flat Earth. Trying to achieve health with modern allopathic medicine is like trying to fix computers with a hammer, just because that's the only tool you were taught to use or believe in.

Don't wait for the system to change. Old ideas die too hard. The mega-medical industry is not going to be quick in either admitting error or revamping itself. Your health is at stake. Think prevention and natural holistic cure. Study, learn, grow, be skeptical, change lifestyle, be self-reliant - be a thinking person. That's your best road to health.

Is Medicine Good Health?

Orthodox Medicine has become the third leading cause of death in the US. I am not one of those who will lambaste the whole system and find nothing good about it, but the issues must be put on the table. How is it that this system, consuming 18% of the gross domestic product, is the third leading cause of death, and why are the people of the United States not healthier when so much money is spent on it?

Doubtlessly, great advancements have been made in medicine. When struck with a serious infection, who would want to be without antibiotics that can cure? Who would want to break a bone and be without means to have it fixed? But at the same time, this shows the most basic problem of orthodox medicine: it largely concerns itself with FIXING the body when everything has gone wrong.

In alternative medicine, we hold that a healthy lifestyle is the basis for health and that it CANNOT be replaced by anything that orthodox medicine (and, yes, also alternative medicine) could ever come up with. You could say that alternative medicine is bent on prevention, but that even is a misnomer, because it implies that you only live healthy to prevent disease. Maybe we have to get back into the mindset of just living according to what our bodies are made for, rather than only doing what we must, to not drop dead. And our body needs some exercise and nutritious, live food.

Another Reason To Watch Out For Farm Raised Fish


Three U.S. scientists are concerned about the potential of people contracting Creutzfeldt Jakob disease — the human form of "mad cow disease" — from eating farmed fish who are fed byproducts rendered from cows.

It looks like eating "byproducts" is a VERY bad idea!

Mad cow disease, also called bovine spongiform encephalopathy is a fatal brain disease in cattle, which scientists believe can cause Creutzfeldt Jakob disease in humans who eat infected cow parts.

In the latest issue of the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease, Dr. Robert P. Friedland, a neurologist at University of Louisville in Kentucky and colleagues suggest that farmed fish fed contaminated cow parts could transmit Creutzfeldt Jakob disease.

The scientists want government regulators to ban feeding cow meat or bone meal to fish until the safety of this common practice can be confirmed.

Eating fish at least two times a week is widely recommended because of the beneficial effects of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on the heart and brain, they note.

"We are concerned," Friedland and colleagues write, that eating farmed fish may provide a means of transmission of infectious proteins from cows to humans, causing variant Creutzfeldt Jakob disease.

"We have not proven that it's possible for fish to transmit the disease to humans. Still, we believe that out of reasonable caution for public health, the practice of feeding rendered cows to fish should be prohibited," Friedland said in a prepared statement. "Fish do very well in the seas without eating cows," he added.

The risk of transmission of made cow disease to humans who eat farmed fish "would appear to be low," the scientists emphasize, because of perceived barriers between the species, but that's no guarantee that it can't happen.

"The fact that no cases of Creutzfeldt Jakob disease have been linked to eating farmed fish does not assure that feeding rendered cow parts to fish is safe," Friedland said.

"The incubation period of these diseases may last for decades, which makes the association between feeding practices and infection difficult," he points out.

"Enhanced safeguards need to be put in place to protect the public," Friedland concludes.

The Battle Continues In Confusion


It's amazing to me that doctors continue to "practice" ignorance on a scale that rivals the great wall of China!

Oncologists say there's a chance that antioxidant supplements reduce the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, but patients are still taking them. Of course they are because they know that antioxidants benefit them.

That's according to a new study, which found that 61 percent of breast cancer patients receiving chemo, radiation, or anti-estrogen drug therapy were taking supplements of antioxidants like vitamins C and E, beta carotene, or selenium.

It's not that doctors have shown conclusively that these antioxidants are bad. They can't! But there's some evidence that the supplements may protect the very cancer cells that chemo and radiation are attempting to destroy. It's a controversial issue; other researchers think that antioxidants protect the healthy tissues but don't interfere with—and may even help—chemo and radiation in their assault on cancerous cells.

We're talking about a "failed system of treatment" here. Chemotherapy is not therapy at all... it's simply a destroyer... of everything in it's path!

There simply aren't enough data to settle the question, says Heather Greenlee, assistant professor of epidemiology and medical oncology at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health and lead author of the study, which appears in the journal Cancer. Nor do we know what dose might be problematic, if indeed there is some level of antioxidant use that people undergoing treatment shouldn't exceed. Her study found that among those using antioxidants, 69 percent were using doses higher than are found in a Centrum multivitamin.

To me, it's like saying when I hold a cat under water for several minutes and then put a straw in it's nostril for half that time... they don't seem to die as quickly. (Please, don't write to me about my analogy... I do not dislike cats)

It's like the blind trying to lead the blind in this quagmire of astounding misinformation about how to treat cancer.

Don't Tell Me We Live In A Democracy!

Despite Daniel Hauser's parents saying that using chemotherapy to fight his Hodgkin's lymphoma is against their religion and beliefs, the 13-year-old Minnesota boy with cancer is being "forced" to resume medical treatment to save his life. Despite religious and other objections by his family, the judge ruled Friday that Daniel must go through with the treatment.

Judge John Rodenberg said Daniel Hauser must have a chest X-ray by next Tuesday, and ordered lawyers and the family back into his courtroom that day to give him an update on the boy's condition.

"Daniel Hauser is a child in need of protection," Rodenberg wrote, noting that five doctors agreed on the recommended course of treatment. The county, he said, had proved "a compelling state interest in the life and welfare of Daniel sufficient to "override" the fundamental constitutional rights of both the parents and Daniel to the free exercise of religion and the due process right of the parents to direct the upbringing of their child."

An attorney for the Hausers said Friday that the family will comply for now and has scheduled X-rays for Monday, but is considering an appeal.

"The Hausers believe that the injection of chemotherapy into Danny amounts to an assault upon his body, and torture when it occurs over a long period of time." I agree. "They believe that it's against the spiritual law to invade the consciousness of another person without their permission."

County Attorney James Olson, who petitioned for the court's intervention, said the judge's decision "gets things started." But even with the X-ray, doctors may not have a prognosis for Daniel by Tuesday's hearing, and the judge may require more information before issuing a final order on chemotherapy.

Daniel was diagnosed in January with Hodgkin's lymphoma, but the Hausers stopped his chemotherapy and radiation after one treatment and began substituting alternative care, including herbs and vitamins. His doctors notified child protection officials, prompting Olson to file a child neglect petition.

In a 58-page ruling, Judge Rodenberg said Daniel should remain in the custody of his parents, Anthony and Colleen of Sleepy Eye, "provided that the parents get the chest X-ray" and choose an oncologist to provide chemotherapy if ordered.

Minnesota laws require parents to provide children with "medically necessary care," he wrote. He said the Hausers may continue with their natural remedies, but added that providing "complementary and alternative health care is not sufficient."

If the Legislature reconsiders the relevant laws, the judge said, "I am confident that I join all of the others involved in this matter in hoping, and indeed in praying, that Daniel Hauser lives to testify at that hearing."

However, he wrote, "this matter ... involves a 13-year-old child who has only a rudimentary understanding at best of the risks and benefits of chemotherapy ... He does not believe he is very ill currently. The fact is that he is very ill," the opinion said. The order is posted on the Minnesota state courts website, www.mncourts.gov.

Combining treatments

Dr. Greg Plotnikoff, an integrative medicine expert at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, said the judge's decision provides a way "to build on the family's strengths and spiritual beliefs by combining the widest wide range of treatments -- acupuncture, herbs, ginger for nausea -- and chemotherapy, which is clearly the key to treatment.

"I hope the family doesn't feel trapped," Plotnikoff added. "Really, they're lucky in to be in Minnesota, where we routinely combine traditional medical care with alternative treatment to get better outcomes."

But Diane Miller, a Minnesota lawyer and director of legal and public policy for the National Health Freedom Coalition, said the court erred by not allowing the Hausers to follow their beliefs.

"They should be free to choose or not choose chemotherapy or any other medical treatment," she said. "Unfortunately, doctors will be disciplined here if they don't recommend chemotherapy."

In court documents, the Hausers argued that the state was usurping their rights to medical and religious freedom. They told Rodenberg that they are practicing Catholics but also belong to a Native American religious group, the Nemenhah, which advocates natural healing.

The judge said that while the parents' beliefs and good intentions are not disputed, "medical neglect as defined by Minnesota law most definitely occurred." He was referring specifically to two recent doctor visits when a chest X-ray was recommended, and refused by the parents, to see if Daniel's lymphoma had spread.

He noted that Colleen Hauser testified that she would again consider chemotherapy if Daniel's condition worsened, but pointed out that another X-ray is necessary to make that decision.

At last week's court hearing in New Ulm, cancer specialists from Children's Hospitals & Clinics of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic testified that Daniel had an 80 to 90 percent chance of surviving with chemotherapy and radiation, but likely will die within five years without it. Swine Flu Continues to Plague


(NaturalNews) H1N1 influenza (swine flu) has spread beyond the ability of the CDC to track it, leading one of its health authorities (Daniel Jernigan) to admit that 100,000 Americans are likely already infected by the swine flu.

The CDC has only "confirmed" 4,714 cases of the flu so far, but by its own admission, the CDC's testing lab is so hopelessly overloaded that it has all but abandoned trying to identify every case of swine flu. All it can do now is estimate the likely number of infections through statistical modeling.

That modeling essentially says that swine flu is already at a pandemic stage, and it will eventually infect anywhere from one-third to one-half of the world population, depending on whose figures you believe.

So if swine flu is infecting so many people, why aren't more people dying?

Some people are dying from it, of course. The latest is an assistant principal of a NYC school, who just passed away yesterday.

But the lack of deaths from the swine flu at the moment doesn't mean the danger is over. In fact, the western world is right now experiencing the health benefits of Spring, which brings sunlight and vitamin D (a natural anti-viral vitamin) to the people.

Historically, influenza strikes in the Fall and Winter months when vitamin D levels are low. Winter, of course, means December - February in the Northern hemisphere, and June - July in the Southern hemisphere. So even if a pandemic strikes North America during the winter of 2009, it is unlikely to be as dangerous in Australia at the same time (because that's Australia's summer).

At the same time, the coming Summer in North America is a vitamin D deficient winter in Australia, so there may be increased risk of H1N1 influenza deaths throughout June, July and August in the Southern hemisphere.

The CDC and WHO, however, are most concerned about the coming winter in North America. The 1918 pandemic struck during the winter months, of course, hitting the population when people were most vulnerable with vitamin D deficiency.

With potentially millions of Americans carrying non-fatal H1N1 influenza into the regular winter flu season in late 2009, there is a very real chance that H1N1 genetic code could mix with various seasonal flu strains, creating a highly lethal and contagious strain that devastates the human population across the world.

It's impossible for anyone to accurately predict the risk of such a mutation occurring, but the elements are in place for precisely such a development. Importantly, should such a scenario unfold, vaccines will be totally useless because they only target whatever H1N1 strain was circulating eight months ago!

Remember this: A viral mutation instantly renders all vaccines completely useless.
